User-Centric Product Designer

This UX & UI designer role is pivotal in delivering usability to thousands of Calxa users.We are obsessed with delivering the best customer experience and product to keep our customers for life.
This role is at the heart of the product team and contributes to the retention of our existing and growth of new customer base.About our companyCalxa provides a subscription-based cloud software.
The app saves time for Businesses, Not-For-Profits and Accountants by automating financial reporting like budgets, cash flow forecasts, KPIs and group consolidations.
Founded in 2008 in Australia, our company now services organisations around the globe.About the UX / UI DesignerTypically, you will interact with our customers and focus groups to identify and understand user needs and their application.
By building your knowledge of user pain points, you will be able to create new, and enhance existing, interface designs.
It is these user preferences that allow you to create wireframes, prototypes and user flows to visualize design concepts that can then be used by software engineers for implementation.This role will suit an experienced designer with strong interpersonal and communication skills that can present and deliver to relevant stakeholders.
Your day will include:Collaboration with product management to understand feature requirementsConducting user research including interviews, focus groups and user testingEvaluation of feedback and conceptualization of complex user experience problemsTranslation of concepts into wireframes, prototypes and user flowsCreation of designs using collaborative interface toolsMaintaining documentation of designs to promote continuityAttend and contribute to product related meetingsReal expertiseYou are an expert in software design and get involved in all aspects of product usability.Having the necessary technical skills and qualifications will help you promote best practice in web design.The result will be evident in customer satisfaction and better adoption of the software by new users.What is required to succeedTo be successful for this position you will be tertiary qualified in UX design, Human-computer Interaction, Graphic Design, Computer Science or a similar field.
You have at least 3 years' experience in a similar design role.
