About the RoleStimulating and rewarding work with reach and impact across RiskOpportunities to learn, grow and developThe Manager Retail Models is responsible for representing the business throughout the model life cycle of capital and decision models used across the Retail Consumer portfolios.
This role requires an individual with strong analytical skills, sound understanding of credit risk and modelling principles, and an ability to collaborate with a range of business partners.
Role Location: 833 Collins Street, Docklands VIC 3008 or 242 Pitt Street, Sydney, 2000Role Type: 12 month Opportunity, Full time
What will your day look like?Key responsibilities:
Supporting model development projects from data sourcing, development, approval and implementationRepresenting the business in all model risk management activitiesProviding expertise to risk, pricing and other stakeholders regarding impacts to capital and profitability of business strategy changesWhat will you bring?Qualifications:
5 years experience in retail credit models (development/validation/implementation)Quantitative degree in statistics, actuarial, econometrics, mathematics, physics, engineering or related fieldAbility to maintain high standards of accuracy and work under pressure to achieve deadlinesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and leadership abilitiesSound understanding of credit scoring, capital models and credit riskProficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g.
SAS, SQL, Python, R, BigQuery)You're not expected to have 100% of these skills.
