Our Emergency and Critical Care (ECC) team works around the clock with rotational shifts during evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have: Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalentMinimum 3years of nursing experience in a busy general practice or experience in a referral (specialist hospital) or emergency settingAvailability to work a variety of shifts across a 24/7 rotating rosterA friendly, easygoing nature, capable of working both independently and as part of a teamA strong work ethic, efficiency, and multitasking abilitiesDemonstrated experience delivering high-quality patient care under busy conditionsDiploma of Veterinary Nursing (Emergency and Critical Care)Proficiency in anesthetic monitoring and nursing critical and ventilated patientsExperience in an emergency or specialist hospitalFamiliarity with RX Works, Smartflow, and Idexx blood machinesWork in a supportive, happy emergency team guided by an ECC specialistOn-the-job training and support from senior nurses and veterinariansEncouragement and support for continuing education and professional developmentJoin our ARH Brisbane family and be a part of a team where your skills and dedication are valued and rewarded.
