The Senior DevSecOps Engineer will make a huge impact on the Technology environment.
This is a Greenfield role, responsible for all things DevSecOps and ensuring all deployments are extremely secure
What will you be doing? Owning DevSecOps across the business, working closely with the Cyber Security Manager and other Technology LeadersBring the DevSecOps lifecycle to the business, bringing team members together as requiredBuild policies, procedures and processes for DevSecOps, leveraging prior experience and market knowledgeCoach and guide the various Engineering teams on best practices and principles for secure code deploymentWork closely with the Engineers to understand the codeWhat will you need to be successful? Strong experience in threat modellingExperience integrating security into the CI/CD pipeline (SAST, DAST, IAST)Experience with vulnerability remediation and code reviewsExperience in containerisation technologies eg Docker and KubernetesHave experience building a DevSecOps capability from scratch priorStrong communicator, able to coach and guide Engineers and other teamsBe up to date with modern Cyber Security and DevSecOps tools/tech/best practiceBe hands on, get involved and show initiative - walk the talkExperience with API's, scripting, coding, Azure environment (preferable)Experience with a wide range of DevSecOps technologies - it will be up to this person to decide what is usedKey Benefits Guaranteed salary increasesWorking in a organisation that truly values company culture and work-life balanceAdditional leave and RDO's = 30 days leave per yearExtensive technology transformation with a great leadership teamThis role requires candidates to be in Melbourne, with a hybrid working environment.
