We are seeking a diligent Manager to lead and support a dynamic team in our Customer and Regional Services unit within Maritime Safety Queensland.

You will be pivotal in delivering top-tier customer service while facilitating the smooth operation of business support functions.
This role is an integral part in the provision of strategic operational services at both state and regional levels.
Some key responsibilities will include:
Lead, manage and support a dynamic, diverse and inclusive team to provide quality customer service in the delivery of business support functions to assist with the efficient and effective delivery of state and regional-based operational services.Provide strategic support and advice to the Executive Director(s), Regional Harbour Master and functional managers in compliance with corporate policies, standards and legislation relating to finance, human resource management, governance, facilities management, business and continuity planning, procurement, performance management and administration.Coordinate and monitor the budgetary and financial management processes for maritime functions to ensure compliance, financial sustainability and achievement of service delivery targets.Monitor the efficiency and effectiveness of processes and systems and facilitate change where business improvement opportunities are identified.Undertake a lead role in disaster and emergency response activities.Your individuality is valuable to us, and we seek someone who truly fits this role.

Minimum requirements include:
Experience in leading and managing all aspects of a team and program of work both in person and remotely.Demonstrated ability in finance, human resource management, governance, issue/risk management, business and continuity planning, procurement, performance management and administration, including proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office tools and SAP.Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team to develop, coordinate and deliver work priorities to achieve organisational objectives and commitments.Ability to build and sustain enduring relationships with customers and stakeholders to foster trust and credibility.High level written and oral communication skills and the demonstrated ability to tailor communication style to a range of internal and external stakeholders.Seize the chance to make an impact in a role that not only demands excellence but fosters your professional growth.
