Senior Project Mechanical Engineer - Olympic Dam FIFO 2 and 1Goodline is a leading construction and maintenance services provider in Australia.

Goodline facilitates a wide range of works, including but not limited to, Shutdown Maintenance, Welding and Fabrication, Civil Construction, Concreting, Plumbing, Equipment Maintenance, Refrigeration, and Electrical.
We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer for our operations at Olympic Dam in South Australia.
Successful candidates will be integral to our delivery team and will work on a variety of intra-divisional construction projects.
These projects range from Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Piping, and Electrical within the Olympic Dam mine site and include both capital projects and maintenance works.
ABOUT YOU You will have a Bachelor of Engineering with a minimum of 5 years working experience in a construction project environment in similar roles with a sound knowledge of the core fundamentals of construction management.
You will also have:
Demonstrated ability to deliver multi-disciplined, technical construction projects in the mining or commercial construction industry.Demonstrated contract management experience in industrial construction environments, overseeing and supporting Contracts engineers in managing variations and claims.Oversee procurement and supplier/subcontracting functions.Sound ability to identify potential contractual, schedule, and safety risks.Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be able to operate as a team leader managing the engineering, planning, project controls, QA, and contract admin functions to support our supervisory teams to safely execute site works on time and budget.Be a forward thinker who can plan and schedule works, identify potential schedule risk, implement mitigation strategies, and assess delays.Demonstrated ability to work at multiple levels of stakeholder management across various disciplines.Lead by example and assist in the development of the project team's culture surrounding safety, quality, and environmental management.Highly-developed and effective interpersonal and communication skills.WHAT WE OFFER FIFO 2 and 1 roster.Attractive salary package.Long term contract with potential for ongoing work across the business.Flights/Accommodation/Meals supplied.Income protection insurance.PLEASE NOTE – ONLY APPLICANTS WHO ARE SUCCESSFUL IN GETTING THROUGH TO THE NEXT ROUND OF THE APPLICATION PROCESS WILL BE CONTACTED.
