Position Overview Boral is looking for an experienced Construction Supervisor to be responsible for the coordinated delivery of the Westgate Tunnel Projects' campaign programs.
Initially a 12-month contract, there is a strong possibility of a permanent appointment in due course.
Responsibilities: The Construction Supervisor oversees the day-to-day operational management of delivery teams and related resources.
You will work collaboratively with peers in the Metro business to manage the overall resource demand for the WGTP and metro business.
You will also work closely with the technical and production teams to ensure material quality is maintained through all phases of Asphalt supply to the project.
Your day will involve:
Actively participate in developing campaign programs in accordance with the contract requirements.
Liaise with client in development phase of campaign programs.
Assist in implementing change initiatives (e.g., technical, capital, strategic and HR).
Understand and actively manage quality targets and trend monitoring.
Actively track and report on daily outputs against planned targets.
Optimise projects to deliver superior results benefiting both the customer and Boral.
Actively manage all resources available to deliver optimum performance and manage quality and safety issues, non-conformances and variable costs.
What we are looking for: 5+ years' experience with knowledge of management of projects with a particular focus on Asphalt.
Experience in managing and developing a diverse team across multiple locations of the project.
Operational experience managing complex supply chains across multiple locations of the project.
Internal and external stakeholder engagement with a focus on balancing client and business expectations to achieve the best outcome for all.
Management of contractors and suppliers/subcontractors to ensure requirements are met and delivered in accordance with applicable systems and processes and contract requirements.
Experience in applying sound contractual, technical and risk processes and implementing these through a system-based approach, in line with the contract provisions.
