The corporate office houses key functions including HR, Finance, External Affairs, Sustainability Strategy, Corporate Development, Investor Relations, Group Risk, Legal and Technical. We're open to exploring flexible arrangements with qualified candidates.The Analyst Finance Business Partner role will be part of the Global Functions Business team. Your passion for understanding stakeholder needs will help teams reach their full potential, as you partner with them to explore opportunities and craft meaningful solutions. This rewarding role lets you make a real difference, helping our functions flourish while bringing fresh perspectives to complex business challenges.Reporting to the Lead Functions Business Partnering responsibilities include:Partner with our Global Functions and mentor team members, building strong relationships as a trusted advisor who helps others develop and succeed.Participate in financial planning and forecasting activities, working with teams to make smart decisions that balance opportunities with risks.Transform complex data into clear insights through analysis and monthly reporting, helping teams understand their costs and find ways to improve.Connect with finance teams across locations to ensure smooth reporting and maintain high standards in accounting and data management.ABOUT YOUYou will ideally have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:Bring your experience (5+ years in Business Partnership or equivalent) to a role where your expertise will truly make a difference in shaping global success.Share your natural gift for detail and relationship-building as you connect with colleagues across all levels of our organization, turning connections into meaningful partnerships.Put your analytical mindset to work, asking the right questions and uncovering insights that help drive smart decisions and innovative solutions.Champion excellence by identifying opportunities for efficiency and automation, helping our Functions perform at their best while maintaining high standards.Thrive in our collaborative culture where your strong work ethic and team spirit will help create an environment of shared success and continuous improvement.Leverage your technical skills in SAP and Power BI to transform data into powerful insights that tell compelling stories and drive positive change.Qualifications for this position are:Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce.CA/CPA or equivalent accounting qualificationSouth32 is committed to building and maintaining an inclusive and diverse workforce that reflects the communities in which we operate.
