You'll be part of a friendly and supportive team where everyone - no matter what role - contributes ideas and drives outcomes.What role will you play?As a Java Integration Tech Lead, you will play a pivotal role in evolving our strategic payments capabilities. In this role, you will lead and mentor multiple engineering teams, guiding them through application design and architecture. You will contribute to business requirements, ensuring that technical solutions align with business goals. You will design and build integrations between multiple microservices using your hands-on experience with microservice frameworks.You will collaborate in an agile environment, creating user stories and acceptance criteria while identifying potential risks. Applying DevOps principles, you will lead the team toward automation, implement CI/CD pipelines, and support incident management. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing APIs, ensuring they meet high standards of reliability and performance.What you offerSolid background in Java with a strong understanding of software development best practices.Proven track record of leading microservice integration, focusing on reliability and quality within complex ecosystems.Proficiency in developing microservices using Spring Boot, along with skills in containerisation, cloud technologies, and service orchestration.Hands-on expertise in event-based and message-oriented distributed systems (e.g., Solace, Pub/Sub).Extensive background with automated API and integration testing, including knowledge of relevant tools.Exposure to payments or cards products and/or API-based financial services platforms is a plus.We love hearing from anyone inspired to build a better future with us.
