The Position Consultant Paediatrician providing specialist paediatric care and services to the local and surround communities within a large multidisciplinary team.
The Location Synonymous with great food, wine, waterways and weather this is a fantastic location to spend a few months.
This regional city boasts a diversity of cultural, outdoor and sporting activities seldom found anywhere else.
Located only two hours north of Melbourne, the area features magnificent food and wine, glorious weather and all the attractions and activities you could imagine in a regional city.
Restaurants abound throughout the region, offering an international taste experience to suit all palates.
The Facility This is a 280 bed acute and extended care facility which provides surgical, medical, paediatric, obstetrics and gynaecology, intensive care and psychiatry services as well as extended care and regional services.
A high incidence of road accidents, skin cancer, farm injuries and work safety accidents occur in the region.
Population numbers swell during the fruit harvest season when an estimated 10,000 itinerant workers from throughout Australia visit the region.
The Requirements Registered or registrable with the Medical Board of Australia Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (or assessment by the college that the position holder is suitable for the position) Demonstrate high level expertise and experience in the delivery of paediatric services.
