SRW is a government-owned statutory corporation, operating with offices across the southern half of the state to deliver water services that support agricultural production, electricity generation, and the provision of bulk water entitlements.
Reporting to the Managing Director, the General ManagerDelivery is central to providing strategic leadership across the organisation and is responsible for the operational management of SRW's Water Supply (irrigation districts) and Groundwater and Rivers (unregulated water licences) business streams to achieve the required safety, financial, business and environmental outcomes.
Overseeing a large operational workforce, this role is responsible for leading the development, implementation and management of strategies that drive efficiencies.
You will bring a focus on innovative continuous improvement solutions that will drive quality and affordability in water operation through the use of technology and data, partnering opportunities, workforce productivity and improved services to customers.
Your proven ability to think strategically, identify emerging issues, problem solve and apply creative solutions will underpin your experience in asset intensive operational environments.
Your strong financial and commercial acumen, together with your comprehensive understanding of the regulatory and commercial aspects of running irrigation infrastructure, will enable you to add value for the business, customers, and the community.
As a key member of the executive team at SRW, you will provide significant leadership across the organisation to assist with developing and enabling the organisation's strategic objectives, guiding cultural transformation, ensuring empowerment, accountability and delivery that will position Southern Rural Water to be future ready.
