About the role This senior leadership position offers a unique chance to support our newly elected Lord Mayor and Deputy Lord Mayor. You will lead a dedicated team of strategic advisors and administrative support, ensuring the efficient and effective operations of the Lord Mayor's Office. Your role will involve:
Proactively managing emerging concerns and issues.Engaging with government agencies, community members, and specialist groups on complex political matters.Seeking opportunities for enhanced partnerships beneficial to CoM.Leading operational effectiveness by implementing new ways of working and managing the departmental budget.Collaborating closely with our Executive and Management Leadership teams to align the LMO's priorities with CoM's strategic direction.What we offer An attractive remuneration package.The opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment.The chance to make a significant impact on the community and the city's future.What you bring We are looking for a resilient leader with extensive experience in a highly political, fast-paced environment.
