Offer DescriptionLECTURER MIDWIFERY SCHOOL OF NURSING AND MIDWIFERY $80,938 to $108,498 PA (ALEVA) (PRO-RATA 60%), SOUTH WEST CAMPUS $113,918 to $134,596 PA (ALEVB) (PRO-RATA), JOONDALUP CAMPUS ONGOING, PART-TIME/FULL-TIME Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are encouraged to apply Overview We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and well-qualified midwife to influence the next generation.
The School of Nursing and Midwifery provides a comprehensive range of academic programs to prepare health care professionals for positions in nursing and midwifery.
ECU offers the only Bachelor's level dual nursing and midwifery degree, and the only Master's level midwifery degree for qualified registered nurses in the state, making ECU's offerings a unique and comprehensive strategy to meet the needs of the midwifery workforce.
The School has a commitment to developing strong partnerships locally, nationally and internationally through its collaboration with health professions, industry and the broader community.
The School is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced academic to further enhance the Midwifery team.
Selection Criteria The successful candidate will be a Registered Midwife, have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and have the following experience:
Must be registered or eligible for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a midwife;Demonstrated breadth of clinical midwifery experience.Will have made progress towards completion of a PhD or committed to commencing one;Will have completed postgraduate qualifications in education and/or relevant to the discipline;Will demonstrate education experience within a tertiary or clinical education setting;Will have undertaken research activities within a tertiary education or clinical practice setting;Will demonstrate a sound professional and academic track record in midwifery.You will demonstrate personal attributes that are congruent with the University's values of Integrity, Respect, Rational Inquiry, Courage and Personal Excellence and the School's Midwifery Philosophy. Formal mentorship will be provided to the successful applicant.

Benefits & Remuneration This ongoing position attracts a salary of ALEVA $80,938 to $108,498 PA (pro-rata 60%) or ALEVB $113,918 to $134,596 PA (pro-rata) plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
