Registered member of Engineers Australia.Working towards CPEng or interest in pursuing.Australian Citizenship or permanent working rights in Australia (preferred).Experience with Engineering modelling software (including CAD/REVIT).Highly developed written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with various stakeholders (external & internal).Highly disciplined in undertaking quality assurance activities to ensure delivery excellence.Strong technical knowledge of power systems, protection principles, and their operations.Over 8 years of experience in the field of hydraulic services within the built environment.The key responsibilities will include: Communicates individual and team needs for resourcing, training and development, effective teamwork and coordinates and leads delivery of requirements in these areas.Contributes to budget setting for Hydraulics Discipline and is accountable for financial performance of both projects and team.Acting as the Project Team Leader on teams responsible for the delivery of selected projects by Lucid.Design, documentation, correspondence, reporting and consulting tasks associated with the Hydraulic Engineering services projects undertaken by our office.Training and supervision of undergraduate, graduate, junior and intermediate engineers assisting with projects under your direction.Undertaking hydraulic and other computational calculations.Assessing buildings, both existing and new against the Building Code of Australia and relevant Australian Standards.Implementing system designs in accordance with relevant Australian and International Standards.Documenting system designs in both preparation of technical specifications and technical drawings utilising Autodesk REVIT and AutoCAD software packages.Liaising with authorities.Building relationships between clients, contractors, and authorities.Report and fee writing.Attending meetings and site inspections and other construction phase responsibilities.About Us: Lucid is one of Australia's fastest-growing national engineering and advisory practices with over 300 staff across offices in Melbourne, Adelaide, Alice Springs, Canberra, Darwin, Brisbane, Perth, and Sydney.
