The Role You Could Play As our SEO Specialist, you will help drive the implementation of effective changes to improve MECCA's online presence as well as support in analyzing opportunities and providing meaningful insights and recommendations to internal stakeholders.
You will be an integral part of the eCommerce team supporting delivery of trade objectives, and working closely with Product and Content to deliver requirements in line with best practice.
Reporting to the SEO & Content Manager, you will help deliver and implement best practice through Sitecore, Salesforce Commerce Cloud and Product Inventory Management systems.
You will provide meaningful insights and recommendations, whilst continuously unlocking opportunities to surprise and delight our customers through innovation and bringing to life the "MECCA Magic".
Day to day responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Support with setting benchmarks and development of roadmap to achieve SEO goals and KPIsReport on overall organic search performance and develop meaningful insights to guide strategy in line with SEO best practiceSupport the identification of data driven trends and insights through gap analysis and competitor review to assist with content developmentSupport to deliver technical SEO audits, guidelines, recommendations, etc., to ensure site structure follows SEO best practiceProduce and coordinate delivery of recommendations with internal stakeholdersWork collaboratively with other performance channels in conjunction with SEO Manager to deliver a holistic performance strategyWhat You Will Bring You are a proactive, go-getter who is willing to do what it takes to make things happen but equally can apply a strategic lens to ensure you are operating efficiently.

You are analytical, logical and can use data and insights to help with your problem solving and decision-making.

As a solution focused individual, you will have proactive approach to identifying opportunities to improve, develop new ideas and provide solutions.
In addition, the successful candidate will also have the following skills and experience: Strong understanding of SEO best practicesExperience with HTML and CSSExcellent knowledge of search related tools such as Screaming Frog, Search Console, Google Business Profile, Keyword Planner, SEMRush, etc.Experience in using analytical tools to draw insights and report on search performance (including Google Analytics)Prior experience in an agency role will be highly regardedExperience with using website CMS (SFCC desirable)Your Life At MECCA Whilst we are singularly focused on our #CustomerFirst mantra, we know that wouldn't be possible without an incredible team that is guided by our MECCA values and motivated each and every day to be solutions focused, innovative, collaborative and adaptable, and have a bit of fun along the way
