The Opportunity:
KBR is currently undertaking Expression of Interest applications for Senior Security Advisors for various Maritime Programs in our Capability Sustainment and Modernisation operational unit.
You will provide subject matter expertise on all aspects of security ensuring KBR is compliant with company and government policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:
The key responsibilities of the role will include, but are not limited to:
Provide subject matter expertise to the program on all security related matters (cybersecurity, personnel, facilities) Initiating, deactivating, and/or transferring security clearances Maintain security registers (personnel and facilities) Conduct security compliance checks and auditing in accordance with auditing policies Cyber threat intelligence integration and hunting Conduct pre-sales activities to support cybersecurity Request for Information (RFI) / Request for Tender (RFT) on behalf of KBR Deliver security awareness and insider threat training packages to all staff on an annual basis Comply with KBR business practices, State, and Federal legislation As the ideal candidate you will bring:
Tertiary qualifications in Cybersecurity or related field with relevant industry experience Deep understanding of DISP, DSPF, Australian Cyber Security Policy, and understands the cybersecurity challenges in the Defence and Defence Industry sector Extensive experience in managing and advising on security matters within Defence or related technical industry (CASG/Defence/Defence Industry) Successful completion of Security Officer training course with relevant industry experience as a Security Officer Demonstrated leadership and organisational skills Project management qualifications/experience desired The ability to maintain an NV-1 minimum Australian Government Security Clearance All candidates will be required to hold and maintain an active Negative Vetting 1 Defence Security Clearance.
