Infrastructure Services Division has a permanent opportunity where you can contribute to delivering great infrastructure outcomes for schools.
We are looking for a focused professional to join our Portfolio Investment Unit within Portfolio Investment and Performance.

About Us:
The Portfolio Investment team oversees the division's Infrastructure Investment Portfolio for capital works and provides strategic advice on how to optimise the timing and use of available funding.
The team makes assessments of program and market performance to determine how best to manage the budget and enable project delivery to ensure the best outcomes for students and communities state-wide.
About You:
A background in finance/accounting, or budget management and reporting would be beneficial.
The ideal applicant will be someone who has the key attributes stated in the Role Description and attached Work Profile.

About the Role:
As the Senior Infrastructure Services Officer, you will have responsibility for the following:
Contribute and assist in managing the Infrastructure Investment Portfolio through the analysis of project, program and portfolio performance and cash flows.
Providing accurate and timely budget-related reporting and advice to key internal stakeholders and governance groups.
Assist in process mapping the budget cycle and other key functions.
Assist in embedding key decision-making tools within DoE online systems.
Develop strategies, procedures, guidelines and business tools to support the optimal use of SAP systems as a financial management and reporting tool.
Lead and contribute to continuous improvement of business processes and reporting.
The role reports to the Manager - Budget Development, Portfolio Investment.
