About the role
Reporting to the Manufacturing Director, the Quality and Operational Excellence Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects throughout the Australian/NZ region, to ensure the business meets and exceeds customer expectations and industry standards in regards to Quality and Operational Excellence.
This role will work with key stakeholders to challenge the status quo and to drive operational excellence throughout the manufacturing operations in all regions within Australia and New Zealand.

Duties include: Lead with future focussed continuous improvement top of mindCreate, innovate and encourage a culture of operational efficiency and best practiceManage and lead proactive internal and external auditsEnsure metrics and KPI's are not only fit for purpose but also achievedEstablish clear goals and engage in internal and external benchmarkingProvide opportunities for growth and encourage further development of people's skills and knowledge throughout each siteRegularly review and analyse performanceIdentify and communicate trends and any emerging issues to the businessDrive initiatives, encouraging team members to share their ideasBe open to new ideas, curious and enable an environment that embraces creativity, efficiency and innovation.Plus much, much more………… Skills and experience include:
We anticipate successful candidates will have great stories to share, showcasing innovation, strong leadership and project management skills, as well as a great track record of success in Quality Management and Continuous Improvement - within a high-risk manufacturing environment.
Above all, you will be needing to bring energy, enthusiasm and some great examples of your success.
Relevant tertiary qualification (science, engineering, manufacturing is desirable)Proven experience in CI methodologies, ideally in manufacturingKnowledge of ISO9001Experience with SAPExcellent collaboration and communication skills, both written and verbalGreat examples of ability to negotiate and influenceEnergy and drive to improve the status quoProven ability to partner with cross-functional teams to foster company wide CI mindset How to apply
