We are seeking an experienced and professional Asset Technical Officer to join our team.
In this role you will have the following accountabilities:
Maintain the Shire's asset data within the ERP and GIS systems.Assist with the development and implementation of appropriate systems and data collection programs to ensure relevant infrastructure recording, which integrates into a GIS environment that creates intelligent data sets.Assist with database management and reporting.Coordinate and assist with the preparation and maintenance of updated Asset Management Plans for the Shire's assets.Assist the Asset Management Coordinator with reporting to the Asset Management Working Group (AMWG) to align with the Shire's strategic objectives.Assist with Annual Budget preparation.Our preferred candidates will be able to demonstrate the following skillset:
Tertiary qualifications in a discipline relevant to the role.Working knowledge of asset recording, standards, guidelines and documents.Working knowledge of GIS Software (QGIS).Experience in working with the A-Spec Digital Data Standards.Highly developed analytical skills.The Important Stuff An attractive salary is on offer up to $97,500 for the right candidate, dependent upon experience.
