We seek a Senior Cloud Engineer with on-premise and cloud skillsets to manage our customer infrastructure and Microsoft Azure tenancies.
As a Senior Cloud Engineer in Managed Services, you will be critical in overseeing our clients' implementation, maintenance, and optimisation of IT systems.
Additionally, you will be involved in key projects, providing technical leadership and guidance to ensure smooth operations and successful delivery.

Your Key Responsibilities: Managed Services & Support:Provide advanced troubleshooting, maintenance, and support for Microsoft Azure cloud and on-premise server environments.Monitor systems, resolve issues, and perform routine management of customer infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security.Act as a point of escalation for complex incidents, guiding junior team members and ensuring swift resolution.Project Involvement & Delivery:Work closely with clients to deliver on infrastructure projects involving Azure, on-premise servers, networking, and data storage solutions.Contribute to solution design, implementation planning, and project execution.Ensure the successful migration, integration, or upgrade of client systems from on-premise to cloud or hybrid environments.Evaluate and improve managed systems' performance, scalability, and reliability.Recommend and implement best practices for cloud and on-premise infrastructure.Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in Azure and server management to ensure clients' systems remain cutting-edge and secure.Work cross-functionally with internal teams to align services with client needs.Mentor junior engineers, provide training, and share knowledge to uplift the team's technical capabilities.Key Skills and Experience: Have a minimum of 5 years experience in an IT environment with a minimum of 2 years as a level 3 engineer or above role– MSP experience is preferred.Strong experience in the following technologies: Azure technologies, Office365, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Group and Local Policy Administration.With exposure in Network Technologies, Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, Server Platforms, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Hyper-V.An understanding of VoIP, SIP, 3CX and other phone system technologies will be highly appreciated.Experience in using PSA tools such as ConnectWise or AutoTask.ITILv4 Certification or strong experience working in an ITILv4 framework environment will be highly regarded.As you may need to travel to client premises, a Current Clean Australian Drivers Licence is ESSENTIAL.Why should you apply for this role?
