Position Overview: We are seeking an ERP Specialist to provide management and technical support of the financial software across the organisation.
Key responsibilities: Ensure financial systems accurately reflect financial data, enabling efficient reporting and analysis.
Design, plan, test and implement new system features to improve new and existing business processes.
Plan, co-ordinate and manage system upgrades with software vendors, finance, IT and Business Excellence teams.
Manage the configuration and maintenance of the finance system, including workflows, chart of accounts, positing rules and security settings.
Provide training and support to finance (and other departments) on the use of financial systems, developing training materials and documentation to support ongoing training and support.
Support the existing suit of Power BI reports, engaging with the finance team and other Synod Office stakeholders to develop new Power BI reports to meet the changing needs of the organisation.
Please note this is a part-time opportunity of 25 hours per week.
Qualifications and Skills: Relevant business tertiary qualifications (Accounting, Finance, IT or related field) Demonstrated strong understanding of finance and accounting principles and standards.
Demonstrated understanding of finance systems (preferably Power BI , Microsoft Dynamics, Business Central , Power On Budgeting Software, Xero).
