About the Company:Our client, an award-winning Australian-owned company specialising in construction, design, and engineering, is looking for an experienced Project Engineer to join their team for a project based in Castle Hill.
Their projects range from residential high-rises to industrial facilities, aged-care centres, and educational institutions, bringing a unique blend of creativity and technical innovation.About the Role:Reporting to the Project Manager, your role is to support the Project Manager throughout the project.
You will be responsible for reviewing tenders and the scope of work, assisting the contracts administrator, while ensuring the project objectives.Key Responsibilities for the Role:Reviewing design and finishes selectionsAssisting the Contract Administrator with all Variation AssessmentsAssisting the Project Manager with monthly reporting and minute-takingEstablish, implement, monitor, and track IMS for the projectManage the project using the company's processes and proceduresMonitor defect rectification, project programs, and schedulesReview sub-contractor programsEnsure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standardsSkills & Experience:Hold a Tertiary Degree or Diploma in Building Management, Quantity Surveying, or equivalentMust have two years of experience as a Site Engineer or Project EngineerBe computer literate in Word processing, Excel, programming, and ACONEX or other document control softwareExcellent communication skills, written and verbalStrong attention to detailCulture:The company provides an inclusive, supportive environment and offers career growth and development opportunities.
