About the role As our next HSE Advisor reporting to the HSET Manager, you will work collaboratively towards delivering high-quality solutions and results.
This role is based at Iron Bridge, located 145km away from Port Hedland on an 8/6 roster from Perth.
In this role, you will:
Coordinate and assist in the implementation of safe systems of work across the projectAssist in delivering the site safety management plans and safety objectivesFacilitate and lead incident investigations as requiredConduct inspections and audits on a regular basis to identify deficienciesMonitor compliance to monthly activity schedules and support site leaders in their deliveryAssist with the inputting of key data into site systems for event reporting and ongoing or periodic reportingAssist with the collation and collection of evidence for internal and external auditsSupport the HSE Manager with coaching and mentoring of site personnelAbout you Minimum Diploma in OHS and/or Cert IV WH&SDemonstrated experience in open pit mine operationsSound knowledge of The Work Health and Safety Act 2020 and The Work Health Safety (Mines) Regulations 2022What Thiess can do for you Permanent full-time positionThiess' commitment to training & developmentSalary sacrifice options – Flights & novated leasingRange of corporate discounts including health insurance (Medibank), travel & retail productsAbout us At Thiess, we partner with our clients to deliver excellence in open cut and underground mining in Australia, Asia and the Americas.
