Data Governance Analyst (BBBH428) Adelaide, Australia Opportunity to shape the future of data governance in an industry-leading, forward-thinking organization.

In this high-level consultancy role, you will engage with senior stakeholders, guiding them on the powerful benefits of a well-structured data governance framework.
Your expertise will directly influence key strategic decisions, ensuring that data governance is not only understood but embraced across the organization.

This is a unique opportunity to join this exciting and growing team, while being immediately based in a client-facing role.
Responsibilities for this role include:
Understanding and interpreting requirements for development by directly engaging with various stakeholders to understand future enhancements and new functionalities.
Stakeholder management at all business levels, both technical and business side.
Data profiling, data analysis, and manipulation.
Familiarity with data models from contextual through logical to physical.
Change control and issue management within project context.
Producing technical documentation for requirements, testing development, and definition.
Engineering solutions within the technical stack in line with organizational strategy.
Providing strategic leadership, guiding use and development for IT and the business.
Monitoring and controlling project activities to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
Ensuring timely troubleshooting and resolution of incidents.
Presenting methodologies, best practices, and solutions to individuals and groups.
Tool configuration and use within data management technology stack.

Key Skills and Experience:
Extensive experience with data governance standards and practices.
Metadata management and data quality experience.
Knowledge of defining data use cases and typical data & analytic roles.
Knowledge of data governance software would be advantageous (e.g., Alation, Collibra, Informatica IDQ).
Strong record with monitoring adoption, communication, and overseeing compliance with data governance across an organization.
