This role is a combination of workshop and site-based work. The role is based primarily in Brisbane, but successful applicants may be required to travel away for work.What is on offer?Good team cultureCombination of workshop / site workCompetitive hourly rate on offerThe ability to earn more with overtimeSafe and professional work environmentResponsibilities:Fitting & Welding of small & large bore pipe work in the workshop and on siteComplete and understand work packs (material and weld traceability)Minor structural steel fabrication / assembly & installation as requiredExperience with bolt up & flange managementAble to work unsupervised and part of a teamDesired Requirements & Tickets:Certificate III Engineering (Fabrication/Boilermaking)Experience in the Oil & Gas IndustryExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsWeld in accordance with AS3992 ASME XIMust pass multiple 6G Pipe Weld Tests GTAW/SMAW - 100% X-RayProficient in GTAW/SMAW/FCAW/GMAW(STT) welding and general structural fabricationBe able to read isometric and engineering drawingsA solid work ethic and can work in a team environmentWork at Heights current within 2 yearsConfined Space Entry current within 2 yearsA strong focus on safety - we will not compromise on this requirement.Current Driver's LicenseRelevant Industry Tickets - Construction White CardHigh Risk Work Licence (Preference for WP, LF)Pre-Employment RequisitesAble to pass Drug and Alcohol Screening along with a Pre-Employment MedicalDIALOG Fitzroy Ltd is committed to being Australasia's premier supplier of fabricated equipment and full life-cycle engineering solutions, together with the provision of contract services and site maintenance in Australia and throughout New Zealand and to international customers.
