Warehousing, Storage & Distribution (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)Full timeBorder Express currently has an exciting opportunity available for an experienced and motivated Radio Room Operator to join the team at our Brisbane Branch.We are looking for someone who is ready to take the next step in their career and be willing to take on a key leadership role in a busy express business to meet outbound timelines. Our ideal candidate will love working in a challenging, fast-paced environment.Duties:Ensure all pick ups received are actioned in a timely manner in line with Border Express work processes and guidelinesMonitoring of freight movements and specific communication (instructions) for all pickups and deliveries;Track and monitor fleet vehicles when required to ensure DIFOT targets are achieved;Check all data entry into TS and correspondence to ensure accuracy and relevance of information;Plan and monitor all fleet in movements in conjunction with the allocators for effective utilisation in order to meet the operations time schedule and customer requests;Use appropriate communication channels to ensure any issues you encounter are escalated appropriately to enable them to be addressed.Skills and Experience:Minimum 2 years' experience in the Transport industry;Great local knowledge of Brisbane Metro and surrounding areas;Ability to problem solve with great attention to detail;Excellent verbal and communication skills;A responsible and professional attitude, with a high level of motivation and autonomy;Ability to meet deadlines.Get to know Border Express:At Border Express we're committed 100% to providing the very best supply chain services for Australia.
