Puma Energy's core activities in the midstream sector include the supply, storage and transportation of petroleum products.
Puma Energy's downstream activities include the distribution, retail sales and wholesale of a wide range of refined products, with additional product offerings in the lubricants, bitumen, LPG and marine bunkering sectors.
Puma Energy currently has a global network of over 2,000 retail service stations.
Job Description: Develop demand forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons (M+1 to M+3).Manage trades performance against forecast submitted to ensure DFA is achieved.Manage 3rd party DFA.Review historical sales trends and reconcile significant variance to advise Sales on their forecast inputs.Interact with Sales, Network to understand demand forecast drivers to better predict forward view.Provide inputs to the Supply planning team in developing required replenishment plans.Facilitate and run demand management meetings for Puma and 3rd party supply.Prepare and maintain relevant reports pertaining to demand performance.Continuous improvement focus on demand performance in conjunction with different stakeholders.Key Responsibilities: Cost Management: Establish cost structure with cost build-up approach and share best practices.Guarantee correct upload process into the systems & reports.Identify cost savings by leading initiatives with Trading, Operations and Taxation teams in the countries.Analyze historical cost data to provide more accurate cost estimates.
Constant monitoring of inventory costs of various fuel products to accurately estimate the possible results of the daily transactions of sale.Product Purchase: Purchase product at the lowest possible cost.
Interact with Deals Desk and actively participate in optimizing the supply chain.Lead supply flow of data between marketers and Supply.Accountable for consolidating demand and stock progression forecasts, weekly reporting for the country to ensure consolidated communication to central Market Supply team.Incorporate all in-country Other Oil Companies (OOC) primary supply requirements.Coordination of Product Scheduling: Ensure proper co-ordination/liaison with fuel suppliers to deliver quality products timely.
Manage the interface with the Trader.Ensure and/or develop an efficient road/rail transport plan to ensure supply reliability at existing supply points.Supervision: Responsible for supervising the Supply activities.
Ensure processes are executed following appropriate control standards and complying with all company policies.Create a positive environment that promotes and recognizes individual and team efforts.
Develop the necessary skills and capabilities within the team to achieve the business goals and objectives.Requirements: Work Experience: Exposure to commodities, oil and gas industry.
Education: Technical Degree: Economics (Required).
Skills: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products, effective negotiation skills, networking skills, strong understanding of trading platforms would be advantageous.
