Due to our continued growth, we are seeking a passionate and experienced English and EAL/D Teacher to join our team and inspire a love of learning in our students as part of our wonderful college community.

Your opportunity
You will play an integral role in delivering engaging lessons and providing specialised support to students who are learning English as an additional language or dialect.
Your expertise will contribute to developing their critical thinking, communication skills and language proficiency.
Design and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons.
Foster a positive and inclusive teaching and learning environment that accommodates diverse learning needs.
Provide targeted support to EAL/D students, using differentiated teaching strategies to meet their specific language needs.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
Assess and evaluate student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
Participate in extracurricular activities, school events and professional development opportunities.
You will have:
Queensland College of Teachers registration Experience in the provision of quality relevant curriculum programs Highly developed classroom teaching skills Demonstrated ability to implement information and communication technology into teaching and learning Skills and sensitivity in communicating with parents, students and other employees An ability to work both independently and as part of a team Your application
