Tinnitus Relief Australia (TRA) is a pioneering healthcare company dedicated to improving hearing, tinnitus, and overall health outcomes for Australian veterans through telehealth.
TRA offers access to advanced hearing devices and multiple treatment pathways as part of a full disciplinary team.
In addition, TRA has developed a specialised Tinnitus Counselling Audiologist Program tailored to veterans.
Our programs empower veterans to effectively manage tinnitus and hearing loss from the comfort of their homes.
This innovative service addresses the challenges associated with tinnitus in the veteran community, ensuring access to expert audiology services through the convenience of telehealth.
About the Role: We are seeking a passionate, experienced, and dedicated Audiologist to join our multidisciplinary team.
As a TRA Audiologist, you will deliver expert care, conduct comprehensive tinnitus assessments, and provide tailored therapeutic solutions to veterans—all from the comfort of your home.
Key Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive tinnitus assessments and evaluations.Implement and manage Tinnitus Retraining Therapy (TRT) and develop customised tinnitus programs.Utilise Neuromonics as a treatment pathway to support veterans in managing tinnitus.Conduct SNHL, Tinnitus and Hyperacusis medical assessments for Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA) claims.Provide telehealth-based counselling and support to veterans to help manage tinnitus effectively.Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and refine clinical services.Educate veterans on tinnitus management strategies and assist with device fitting and usage.Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with professional standards.What We Offer: Competitive Salary: Reflective of your experience and qualifications.Career Growth: Opportunities for leadership roles and specialisations.Supportive Work Environment: A collaborative and positive workplace culture.Flexible Work Schedule: Promoting work-life balance with a fully remote position.Impactful Work: Contribute to improving veterans' quality of life.Employee Wellness Programs: Team-building events, wellness initiatives, and discounted partner products.Requirements for the Role: A degree in Audiology and current registration with Audiology Australia or Hearing Services Program.Proven experience in tinnitus management, including TRT, Neuromonics, and tinnitus counselling.Understanding of DVA claims processes and requirements.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency with telehealth technologies and software.A genuine passion for improving veterans' health and wellbeing.How to Apply: If you are a skilled audiologist with a commitment to providing high-quality care to veterans, we encourage you to apply.
