About the role
Darwin City Hotel is currently seeking a vibrant, social and motivated Night Auditor to join our Front Office heroes. We have an exciting opportunity for an energetic Night Auditor to join our team. Reporting to the Hotel Manager, the Night Auditor's role is to maintain the professional, efficient and effective operation of the front desk during the night, whilst accurately completing the Night Audit process with an attention to detail including maintaining and delivering professional and high-quality guest services.
The role will be working night shifts from 10pm – 6am on a rotating roster.
Key Responsibilities:

Immaculate presentation, personal style and advanced communication skills
Passionate customer service advocate and enjoy being hands on during service
RMS knowledge desirable but not essential
The drive to anticipate and exceed guest expectations through an intuitive approach to guest services
Ensure the smooth running and security of the hotel overnight
Complete reports, accounts, handovers and guest correspondence

Skills and Experience:

Your smile is your asset
You love to provide unique customer service and interact with guests at every opportunity
The ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally in addition to excellent telephone manner and an eye for detail
Hotels are your game, with previous experience in 4 star properties preferred however not essential
You're a strong valued team player who can also be independent
Positivity and a 'Can Do' approach is your method
Results driven and innovative
Able to multitask and remain calm during peak service periods
Display a high level of professionalism whilst on duty
Experience in Property Management Systems (RMS) would be advantageous however not essential
