It is this blend of technical expertise and the personal relationships we have with our clients that sets us apart from our competitors.About the RoleThis fantastic opportunity is for an experienced Events & Digital Marketing Co-ordinator to join our reputable and close-knit Business Development & Marketing (BDM) team in our Sydney office.This role plays an integral part in supporting our business development and marketing activities – assisting to retain, grow and manage key client relationships and to raise the profile of sector/practice groups and the Meridian brand internally and externally.Key duties and responsibilitiesAs a key member of the team , you will be responsible for a broad range of duties including:EventsAssisting the BD & Marketing team to develop internal and external marketing activities to raise the profile of individual practitioners, sector/practice groups and legal services – aligned with practice group business plans and goalsPlanning, executing and managing the logistics for a range of external events including conferences, speaking engagements, sponsorship, workshops, seminars, educational sessions, webinars, podcasts, networking events and social eventsCoordinating with vendors, suppliers and internal teams on logistical aspects of event managementAssist in developing budgets and timelines, tracking expenses and ensuring events are delivered within budget parametersWork closely with other suppliers and internal teams to develop event collateral, promotional materials, signage, presentations, name badges and other materialsConduct post-event surveys where applicableMonitor and evaluate event feedback from attendees and stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices for future eventsKeep abreast of industry trends, competitor activities and emerging event management technologies to enhance client experiencesAssist in driving content strategy to promote eventsDigital marketingAssisting in drafting, editing and publishing content on Meridian's website, social media channels and Meridian's intranet, and monitoring engagement across these channelsPerform fundamental search engine optimisation activities (eg.
