ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking Mechanical Supervisors with experience in ore processing facilities and shutdown execution to lead our maintenance teams during shutdowns.
Your responsibilities include: Manage labour, tooling, equipment, and materials for the duration of the works.
Lead shift pre-start meetings and proactively drive safety values and core behaviours.
Ensure work crews are adequately resourced to complete their jobs safely.
Promote a positive culture by leading by example, coaching, and mentoring the workforce.
Manage work packs, work orders and complete time and attendance daily.
Plan, schedule, and coordinate day to day works.
ABOUT YOU Proven capabilities overseeing the execution of below: Mine site refurbishment Major assets overhauls Vibrating or rotating equipment installation Shuttle maintenance and repairs Fabrication and on-site repairs Asset inspection and reporting Ongoing preventative maintenance Non-process infrastructure works experience is favourable QAQC & HSE Compliance Qualifications and Attributes Australian recognised trade certificate; Certificate III in Engineering Mechanical Trade; Or Certificate III in Engineering Fabrication (Boilermaking/Welding) Appointed Persons – Section 44 / Scheduled 26.
Certificate IV in Frontline Management is advantageous.
Working at Heights and Confined Space (issued within 2 years).
Gas Test Atmosphere and Basic Fire Attack (issued within 5 years).
Construction White Card.
Australian Driver's Licence C Class Manual.
Valid Working Rights within Australia.
Strong communication skills, work ethic and a positive attitude.
