We're moving forward and we want you to come along for the ride.About the opportunityAs our Retail Customer Service Officer, you'll play an important part in helping Australians service their own businesses, keeping millions of people connected and building community resilience.
Every year around one million customers walk into one of our Australia Post Offices.
It's our retail teams who make sure that every experience they have is a great one.
And while they do, they're supported by a welcoming team, take part in ongoing training, and are guided on career development opportunities.Role Details:Adult Pay Rate $27.48 increases to $29.37 after 3 months probation + 12% SuperannuationExtensive, supportive training on commencement, from Monday - Friday, a 5 hour shift daily for initial 5 weeksPermanent Part Time position working 15 hours per week, 3 hours per dayYou'll be:Performing customer sales and service transactions with customersManaging high value transactions accurately (handling and processing cash, cheques, credit cards and EFTPOS)Conducting and processing a number of identity services transactions, including Australian Passport InterviewsPromoting our products and services through up-selling and cross-selling, merchandising and other promotional activitiesAssisting customers with mail lodgements and associate costsBuilding rewarding relationships with customers by understanding their needsAssisting with administrative duties such as stocktaking and record maintenanceAbout youYou're friendly, enthusiastic and reliable and you love working in a team environment.
