Associate Director - Business Development Strata Sense Pty Limited provides strata management services to a broad range of residential and commercial clients.
The organisation's vision is to demonstrate a level of expertise and quality that is recognised as being above all others in the industry.
The primary accountabilities of the Associate Director – Business Development role are: Drive business growth by identifying and executing effective acquisition and account development strategies to grow our client base with a primary focus on new property developers, as well as take-over schemes.
Actively manage all sales and sales operations activities in the end-to-end sales process from identifying targets and opportunities through to the handover to the strata management team.
Develop the depth and breadth of our relationships with tier 1 developers and position Strata Sense as their preferred partner for their development projects.
Conduct thorough market analysis to identify new development projects that should be targeted in line with our ideal prospect profile and business strategy.
Qualify and engage those new business opportunities, markets, and segments where we have a compelling proposition and a strong likelihood of winning.
Maintain a robust pipeline of prospects and opportunities that accurately reflects the potential value, timing and status of each opportunity that can be used for planning and pipeline management purposes.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of our business development activities and initiatives, including the use of win-loss analysis, and report on improvement opportunities and the progress and outcomes against agreed initiatives.
Conduct research and analysis of competitors, their offerings and pricing, and provide insights and recommendations to the senior management team.
Represent the company at relevant industry events and forums and promote the company's brand, reputation and offerings.
Work with the leadership team to identify and implement sales tools and systems to support the performance of the sales team including CRM, lead generation, lead scoring, pipeline management, sales forecasting, performance reporting and benchmarking.
Negotiate and close deals with clients within agreed pricing parameters, ensuring mutual satisfaction and long-term value.
Manage a personal sales budget effectively, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently and provide regular financial reports and updates to the management team.
Work closely with the Strata Management team to understand our successes, feedback from clients and the most valued use cases so that this can be leveraged in our messaging and collateral.
Required Skills & Experience At least 10 years sales experience in Strata Management, Building Development or related industries.
A track record of success in working with and developing business opportunities and relationships with Tier 1 residential and/or commercial property developers.
Able to demonstrate a structured, best practice approach to lead generation, qualification, relationship building, solution positioning and to the negotiation and close of major sales opportunities.
