Apply todayPosition Summary:Under general supervision of the Facility Supervisor, Facility Engineer, Facility Technician or other supervisory/management level position within the facility, responsible for supporting the maintenance program.
Co-ordinates routine facility/equipment maintenance, minor repairs in order to ensure equipment is operating efficiently.Responsibilities:Escort and supervise providers activities within the facilityIssue and complete maintenance reportsPerform periodically challenge tests to assure facility and equipment respond as expected in case of incident (eg.
Power Failure Test, Alarm Test & etc)Support temperature mapping activities as temperature sensor placement and equipment configurationAssists with maintaining the overall efficiency of equipment in the facility; responds to problems with equipment such as air and heating systemsAssesses maintenance requirementsCo-ordinates common office and warehouse maintenance, including light fixtures, doors, locks and minor paintingCo-ordinates minor equipment & building repairs and improvementsMaintains daily & monthly maintenance logsMaintains adequate spare parts inventory and toolsComplies with all appropriate policies, procedures and safety rulesBe available to work extended hours, as needed, in order to perform activities which cannot be performed during the normal working hours or planned to be done on determined periodsRequired to be part of an on call roster 24/7 to provide telephone assistance as well as in person attendance for emergency response in case of any concern occurring at the facility in relation to temperature control of the productParticipate in reviewing and authoring global and local SOPs, WI's and TRN documentsWork in all temperature-controlled environments including but not limited to+15 to +25°C+2 to +8°C-20 to -30°CParticipate in occasional scheduled weekend tasksPerform any other duties the employee has been trained forExperience and Education Requirements:Requires some technical vocational training, or equivalent combination of experience and educationNormally requires one (1) to two (2) years directly and progressively responsible experienceMinimum Skills, Knowledge and Ability Requirements:Mandatory:Position will require being able to lift loads up to 20kg independently using safe lifting methods described in manual handling trainingAbility to read and understand English for the purpose of following and implementing instructionsAbility to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with othersAbility to use good judgment in order to carry out detailed instructionsAbility to work independentlyAbility to handle a variety of tasks simultaneouslyExperience with electric installationDesirable:Experience with facility and warehouse maintenanceExperience with HVAC operation and maintenanceHigh Reach Forklift licencePolicy and Procedure:Comply with standard operating procedures and policies to ensure that the function is demonstrating consistent practices nationally and is in line with strategic objectivesEnsure WCA compliance with all government legislative and other requirements such as ACS, CASA, AQIS, IATA, ISOEnsure full compliance with international local regulations such as WCA RACA SP (Registered Air Cargo Security Program) Australian Customs IATA regulationsEnsure full compliance with WCA quality management systems (GxP)Workplace Health and Safety:Actively promote a culture that values a safe and healthy workplaceTake reasonable care of, and cooperate with actions taken to protect the health and safety of both themselves and othersReport all accidents, incidents and hazards to their supervisor as soon as is practicableEnsure compliance with relevant OH&S legislation and that any issues are identified and actioned in line WCA policyWhat Cencora offers:Benefit offerings outside the US may vary by country and will be aligned to local market practice.
