Occupational Therapist - Western Sydney - Full-time$100,000 – $130,000 per year + super + travel
As a Mobile Occupational Therapist at Healthproof, you will play a key role in assessing, planning, and delivering personalised occupational therapy services to clients in a variety of settings, including their homes, residential care facilities, and community environments.
You will be integral in helping clients enhance their independence, safety, and overall quality of life through tailored interventions and collaborative care plans.

We prioritise sustainable workloads to prevent burnout, enabling you to provide the best possible care while achieving your professional goals.Access to Essential Tools and Resources: Access to company-provided tools and resources for effective mobile service delivery.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Client Assessment and Planning: Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' functional abilities, daily activities, and environmental challenges, developing individualised treatment plans to enhance independence and participation.Therapeutic Intervention: Implement evidence-based interventions such as capacity building therapies, adaptive techniques, equipment prescriptions, and environmental modifications, while educating clients and caregivers on therapeutic strategies and assistive devices, and monitoring progress to adjust plans as needed.Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and liaise with external organisations to ensure holistic care and coordinated support for clients.Travel and Flexibility: Provide occupational therapy services via home visits and Telehealth while managing a flexible schedule to meet clients' needs and maintain work-life balance.Caseload: The caseload can include both NDIS participants and Aged Care patients (home care package), and involves conducting functional capacity assessments, home and living assessments, assistive technology assessments, home modifications, providing ongoing therapy for capacity building, improving activities of daily living and improving independence.ABOUT US Healthproof is a dynamic and growing allied health provider that focuses on delivering high-quality, mobile healthcare services across Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
