ABOUT THE POSITION. As a Civil Engineer, you will apply your expertise in software tools like DRAINS, HEC-RAS, Civil3D, 12D, and AutoCAD to design and manage various projects, including stormwater systems, on-site detention tanks, roads, and pavements.
You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, contributing to the successful planning, design, and implementation of projects while ensuring efficient workflows and timely delivery.
Your role will involve collaborating with colleagues and clients to ensure project objectives are met seamlessly.
DUTIES. Produce stormwater, drainage, OSD, water quality and water sensitive urban designAttend site inspections, project meetings and design reviewsUtilize DRAINS, HEC-RAS, TUFLOW, MUSIC and Civil 3D on a daily basisMentor, guide and train Junior EngineersLiaise with all relevant stakeholders to achieve project objectivesSKILLS & EXPERIENCE. Tertiary Degree in EngineeringCPEng or in the process is highly advantageousStrong verbal and written communication skills for team and client liaisingExperience with Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, TUFLOW, DRAIN, MUSIC and AutoCAD4+ years' local experience highly regardedCULTURE.
