Senior Tax Accountant/Client Manager

As the Senior Tax Accountant/Client Manager, you will be instrumental in providing a variety of corporate tax compliance and financial accounting services to our diverse client base. You will also be responsible for managing and developing your portfolio of clients and ensuring clients are serviced to a standard that exceeds their expectations. Using your technical expertise, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:Review of junior and intermediate team members' workProvide support and training for junior AccountantsAssist with workflow management within the teamEnsure client work is completed within time allocationAchieve individual and team monthly billing targetsEnsure the integrity of ATO lodgment programPreparation of financial statements and income tax returns for High-Net-Worth ClientsTax planning ability for High-Net-Worth ClientsDeveloping relationships with existing and new clients to understand what we can help them withIdentifying potential opportunities for both new and existing clientsIdentifying, researching and solving complex tax issues & being able to communicate that advice to partners/clientsIdentifying and implementing new technologies that can streamline workflow and improve our client's businessesAbout you:CA or CPA qualification or near completionA minimum 2-year public practice experience in AustraliaOutstanding leadership and communication skillsExtensive experience with the preparation and lodgment of income tax, FBT returns, and other tax mattersExtensive experience with preparation, lodgment, and review of BAS and IASExperience and proficiency with Xero (including practice manager), MYOB, and QuickBooks.Proficient skills with Microsoft Word and Excel.The ability to communicate with Chinese in both speaking and writing would be preferrableStrong time and workflow management skillsStrong desire to succeed and achieve goals both as a team and individually.Enjoy providing exceptional service to clients.Want to apply or want to know more?If this sounds like the role for you click QUICK APPLY to submit your CV and cover letter.Your application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?How many years' experience do you have as a client manager?How many years of public practice accounting experience do you have?Do you have experience using Xero?How many years of taxation experience do you have?Which of the following accounting packages are you experienced with?Do you have experience using MYOB?
