ABOUT THE ROLE: We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced and customer-focused Service Manager to join our dealership team as a senior leader.
You will head up our Service Department and play a critical role in maximising customer satisfaction, workshop efficiency, productivity and employee engagement.
KEY TASKS: Manage service department administration and reporting functionsEnsure continuous growth of profitability and efficiencies and monitor budget expenditureWork closely with the sales department to facilitate a seamless sales to service processAchieve above benchmark CSI results in line with manufacturer brand requirementsEnsure service commitments on repairs and timings are metWork closely with parts to ensure timely supply of required parts and accessoriesMaintain a strong working relationship with key manufacturer personnelAchieve customer-satisfaction measures and warranty complianceAssist Service Advisors and Technicians to achieve labour sales and parts objectivesManage, lead, coach and support service department staff to continually develop their skills, product knowledge and capabilitiesABOUT YOU: Proven experience as a Service Manager or comparable roleDemonstrated strong leadership and team management experienceExceptional interpersonal, communication and customer service skillsHigh level of computer literacy with experience in a range of Microsoft Office programsKnowledge/experience with a major Dealer Management System (DMS)Experience working with quality vehicle brandsA genuine commitment to providing exceptional customer serviceAbility to work well under pressure and manage customer feedbackA Manual Driver's Licence and good driving record are essentialQualifications in the automotive/mechanical field or comparable skillsFranchise knowledge and/or multi-franchise brand experienceTO APPLY: If you value exceptional customer service and quality outcomes, have a passion for the automotive industry, please apply now or contact our Launceston Mitsubishi Dealer Principal Floyd Croucher at or on for further information.
