Our residential services are tailored to meet the unique needs of individuals with various disabilities.About the RolePurple Support is on the lookout for a compassionate and dedicated Part-time (30-35 hour per week) House Coordinator to bolster our team in Darwin.
This can be a Full-time role for the right candidate.
This pivotal role involves overseeing service delivery for our participants, collaborating with stakeholders, government bodies, allied health professionals, support workers, and our management team.
You will be instrumental in assisting participants to achieve their goals, focusing on custom/person-centered care, and fostering a harmonious team environment.Why work for Purple Support?KPI-Based Bonuses: Opportunities for performance-based rewards.Flexible Hours: Work-life balance with flexible scheduling.Development Opportunities: Continuous professional development and training.Travel Allowance: Compensation for travel-related expenses.Career Growth: Opportunities for advancement within the organization.Key Duties and Responsibilities:Leadership and Team Support: Mentor, coach, and oversee team leaders and support staff, fostering a positive and professional work environment.Service Management: Enhance business capabilities through proficient program and project management, ensuring efficient and high-quality service delivery.Strategic and Operational Guidance: Offer strategic insights and operational guidance to the Leadership Team, contributing to business enhancement.Participant Support: Design, evaluate, and revise individual care plans, ensuring participants' needs are met and their goals achieved.Stakeholder Engagement: Foster and sustain impactful relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders, promoting collaboration and responsiveness.Compliance and Reporting: Oversee team performance, ensuring compliance with NDIS guidelines, and maintain accurate records and documentation.Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives to refine and enhance participant services and operational processes.Administrative Oversight: Establish and uphold administrative systems, manage team rosters, and conduct routine service audits to maintain Purple Support's standards.Selection Criteria:Advanced Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in community health, Mental Health, or a related field; or significant experience in a house coordinator or managerial role within the disability sector.Proven experience in an Aboriginal community/health/disability service.Profound understanding and practical experience with community-based supports within a person-centered practice framework.Comprehensive knowledge of the National Disability Insurance Scheme, including its application, participant safeguards, and NDIA participant plan purpose.Demonstrated experience in managing large teams, workflows, and team coordination/supervision.Exceptional attention to detail and written communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.Required Documentation (or willingness to obtain):Valid Full Australian Driver's License.NDIS Worker Screening Check.Current Police Check.Completion of NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate.Current First Aid Certificate.Working with Children's Check.Legal right to work in Australia.How to Apply:Interested candidates should apply with a cover letter (max 2 pages) addressing the selection criteria and highlighting relevant qualifications, skills, and experiences, along with an updated resume with two professional references.Apply now to join Purple Support and contribute to a supportive and empowering environment for our participants.
