We are seeking an experienced and driven HSE Manager to lead our Health, Safety, and Environmental initiatives, ensuring our operations exceed industry standards.
Your Role As our HSE Manager, you will lead the HSE function across the organisation, promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance with all regulatory and client requirements.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Lead compliance with company policies, Integrated Management Systems (IMS), and HSE standards.Manage the HSE team, focusing on performance, development, and alignment with company goals.Ensure adherence to relevant legislation, regulations, and operational guidelines.Oversee ISO certifications, internal audits, and the company's HSE objectives and KPIs.Monitor and improve the IMS, driving continuous process enhancements.Deliver HSE performance reports and insights for management reviews.Foster strong stakeholder relationships through regular site visits, inspections, and consultations.Guide emergency response planning and training for the HSE team.Support tender submissions with accurate HSE documentation and ensure subcontractor compliance.Collaborate with regulatory bodies to maintain alignment with industry standards.Promote safety awareness and environmental protection initiatives across the business.Provide role coverage during absences to ensure seamless operations.Qualifications and Experience for the position: Tertiary qualifications in HSE or related fields are essential.Minimum of 8 years' experience in a management position within the marine or resources industry.Recognised operational experience with a broad exposure and understanding in the application of health, safety & environmental management systems and regulatory compliance requirements including application of international and Australian standards specific to the marine or resources industry.Understanding of Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) responsibilities.To Apply: If you believe you meet the position's requirements and wish to be considered for the role, please submit your detailed resume.
