Gryphon Psychology is currently recruiting for an experienced and dedicated Finance Manager to join our team in our Brisbane office.
The position is for an immediate start
You will work directly with the Financial Controller and as part of the national leadership team while leading a dynamic finance team across QLD and WA.
Intermittent travel may be required (no more than quarterly) for induction, professional development, and team building purposes.
What does the role involve? As the Finance Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day finance operations of the business, managing a team carrying out payroll, invoicing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable functions, and working with the Financial Controller to develop budgets and analytics to drive the business's growth while maintaining strong controls.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Lead and manage a team of 6-8 individuals to deliver accurate and on-time processing of the company's accounts and payroll functions.Implement and maintain robust internal financial controls, identify areas of risk, and employ strategies to mitigate them.Actively contribute to management meetings in all aspects of the business.Ownership of the company's daily financial operations, ensuring our company policies and accounting standards are met.Involvement in the budgeting and group reporting process.Continuous development and management of financial reporting including forecasting, budgets, and cash flows.Maintain knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements for the business.What are we looking for?
