About the role
Permanent full-time opportunity to manage and administer a centralised vehicle fleet by providing strategic fleet planning, services, and operations across all Metro North Health (MNH) facilities, directorates, and departments in collaboration with Directorate based Fleet Coordinators.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
Provide strategic fleet planning including whole of fleet goals and priorities, future needs analysis, and fleet key performance indicators (KPIs) that align to the Green Metro North - Sustainability Strategy 2021-2026, Transport Implementation Plan, and Queensland's Zero Emission Vehicle (ZEV) Strategy 2022-2032.Oversee the fleet acquisition, lease terms, and fleet disposal processes undertaken by the Fleet Coordinators and facility support services.Manage the review of whole of fleet vehicle requirements using QFleet's Utilisation Standard and Agency Whole-of-Fleet Performance Guidelines to ensure the size and composition of the fleet is optimised for efficiency and value-for-money.Provide advice and manage compliance of home garaging practices in accordance with Fleet Management and Use Procedure.Contribute to the planning, delivery, and adoption of ZEV charging infrastructure across MNH sites including leased properties to support the project team responsible for the rollout of charging infrastructure.Health Equity
