Veterinary Associate - Greencross WilsontonContractOur fantastic team at Greencross Vets Wilsonton are looking for a vet to join their team from late 2024.
The team boasts multi-disciplinary strengths and areas of interest, working together to provide best practice care to all client and patient needs.
State-of-the-art in-house diagnostics include digital dental radiology, digital radiology, and ultrasound.The clinic is recently opened and modern, featuring four consult rooms, a separate surgical theatre, and an isolation ward.
We support flexible working arrangements and rostering.
Our vets enjoy no after-hours work and minimal weekends, as these are rotated between the team to ensure a healthy work-life balance.Toowoomba is a vibrant city with all the benefits of a bigger city but the feel of a country town.
We have great schools, plus a strong artistic and cultural community.
There are many events to enjoy, including the popular Toowoomba food and wine festival.
It is only a short drive to Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast, or the Gold Coast, making it a great place for families and anyone seeking a desirable lifestyle.Working as a vet at Greencross Wilsonton, you can expect to:Deliver personalised, professional, and dedicated care to our patients and owners.Handle and treat all animals.Conduct regular consults and routine surgeries.Use evidence-based diagnoses, therapies, and recommended courses of treatment.Provide follow-up care and education for our pet owners.Work confidently as a sole practitioner in the clinic when required.You should have:A flexible and adaptable approach, with a commitment to gold standards of care.A passion for pets, with excellent animal handling skills.Registration or eligibility for veterinary registration in Australia.Exceptional organisational, communication, and customer service skills.An interest in, and commitment to, working in a team environment.We want you to learn from the very best minds in our industry, both here and abroad.
