About the Role
8/6 Dayshift only roster; 6 weeks annual leave.
An opportunity has become available for a Specialist - Health and Injury to join the HSEC team at our Maules Creek Mine.
This role will support the Mine in developing and sustaining a health and safety-focused culture through facilitation of the injury management process and implementing proactive health and wellbeing programs.
What You'll Do
Bring a sound knowledge of industry best practice and regulatory requirements; key responsibilities will include:
Implement health and injury management systems in line with legislation and industry leading practice; Assist with workplace injury management to manage workers back to pre-injury fitness; Proactively seek out health and wellbeing programs that could be implemented onsite; Provide specialist advice, support and coaching to site personnel as required; Adhere to and actively participate in our STRIVE Values (Safety, Teamwork, Respect, Integrity, Value, Excellence).
What You'll Bring
Qualifications in Allied Health (Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Nursing, Hygiene, Rehabilitation, Exercise Science, WHS or related discipline); Advanced Return to Work Coordinator qualification (desirable); Experience in injury management; Ability to work autonomously; Strong written and verbal communication skills.
