An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Financial Accountant to join a dynamic team of finance professionals in a leading investment and advisory group.
This role offers the chance to work with clients operating in wholesale and retail markets across Australia, New Zealand, and globally.
The successful candidate will be part of a team that provides financial reporting services, including regulatory reporting, board reporting, management reporting, and tax reporting.

What you'll do :
As a Senior Financial Accountant, your role will be pivotal within our dynamic finance team.
You will be responsible for providing comprehensive financial reporting services which include but are not limited to regulatory reporting, board reporting, management reporting, and tax reporting.
Your ability to provide insightful analysis of financial information will play a key role in supporting local finance and business functions.
In addition to these responsibilities, you will also support the financial controller in various tasks such as budgeting & forecasting, business structuring, funding and cash flow planning, deal structuring.
Your collaborative approach will be essential when working on ad hoc projects and interacting with various internal and external stakeholders.
Provide management reporting for Australasian financial entities Handle Corporate Finance product accounting Offer insightful analysis of financial information for local finance and business functions Support the financial controller in tasks such as budgeting & forecasting, business structuring, funding and cash flow planning, deal structuring Perform regulatory reporting calculations and collaborate with the financial controller to ensure continued regulatory compliance Provide support for ad hoc projects Collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders to deliver business partnering outcomes Oversee indirect and direct tax returns What you bring :
As the ideal candidate for the Senior Financial Accountant position, you bring along a wealth of knowledge from your previous experiences.
You possess a relevant tertiary qualification along with additional certifications such as CA, CPA or CFA.
Your understanding of investment banking products and services sets you apart from others.
With over 3 years of experience preferably within banking / financial institutions, you have honed your time management skills enabling you to prioritise tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
Your strong analytical skills are complemented by your commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.
Furthermore, your strong communication skills coupled with a proven track record in problem-solving and critical thinking make you the perfect fit for this role.
A relevant tertiary qualification, preferably with CA, CPA or CFA in addition Knowledge and understanding of investment banking products and services 3 years + experience, preferably within banking / financial institutions Excellent time management skills with demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines Strong analytical skills committed to excellence and driving continuous improvement Strong communication skills with a track record of problem solving and critical thinking What sets this company apart :
