Job Description
Looking for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join a mining business in Moranbah - 7/7 Roster.
Your new company: This Australian energy company is dedicated to creating jobs and opportunities for local communities in regional Queensland.
It operates an open-cut thermal coal mine and has completed significant projects like a major rail network.
The company emphasises sustainability and has strict environmental conditions to minimise its impact.
It also supports local communities through various programs and partnerships, including those with First Nations People.
Part of a global infrastructure and energy group, the company is involved in both traditional and renewable energy sectors.
Your new role: As a part of your role, you will be completing a range of duties (but not limited to):
Manage the operation, upkeep, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring site security and access control.
Oversee site operations, including planning, scheduling, logistics, and compliance reporting.
Maintain electrical and substation systems, supervise contractor maintenance, and offer technical support.
Monitor work schedules, manage tradespeople/technicians, and ensure contractors comply with contract terms.
Handle maintenance projects, procure spare parts/materials, and enforce SOPs and isolation procedures for HV/LV equipment.
Coordinate site activities, lead meetings, and build positive relationships with contractors and stakeholders.
Act as the Principal's on-site representative under the Workplace Health and Safety Act.
What you'll need to succeed:
QLD Electrical Licence Driver's Licence Previous experience with SCADA Excellent written and verbal communication skills Previous electrical supervision experience Extensive experience in the operation of a variety of high voltage isolating devices up to 132kv Ability to DIDO to Moranbah Ability to pass a pre-employment medical What you'll get in return: In return, you will secure a full-time position with a thriving business, working a 7 on, 7 off roster, days only, with 10-hour shifts.
The role offers a competitive remuneration package of $160,000, including superannuation.
Additionally, you will be provided with a work vehicle for use during your shifts and accommodation in Moranbah.
This position is available for an immediate start, and the company is seeking a long-term commitment from the successful candidate.
