We're seeking a Project Manager with strong experience in the web design and development industry.
At Stone Digital (stonedigital.com.au) we're a specialist web design and development agency based in Sydney, Australia, with a global team.
We focus on creating custom bespoke websites using WordPress, WooCommerce, and Shopify.
With a growing team and a diverse portfolio, we are looking for a skilled Project Manager to help us with effective Project Management in our business to ensure we deliver projects on time, within scope, and to the highest standards.
Key Information: Location Preference: RemoteTimezone: Must have full or significant overlap with Australian working hours (9am-5pm AEST)Employment Type: Full-time, Part-time, ContractorRequirements: Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, milestones, budgets, and resource allocation.Team Coordination: Lead cross-functional teams, including designers and ensuring all team members are aligned and working efficiently towards project goals.Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates, managing expectations, and ensuring client satisfaction.Quality Assurance: Ensure all deliverables meet the agency's quality standards and client specifications, conducting thorough testing and reviews.Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate them, ensuring projects stay on track.Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, controlling costs, and ensuring financial targets are met.Documentation: Maintain detailed project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and post-project evaluations.Process Improvement: Enhance project management processes and contribute to refining our company's SOPs.About you: Proven experience as a Project Manager in a web design and development agency.Strong understanding of web development processes, including design, development, testing, and deployment.Excellent organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and team members.Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Asana) and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).Ability to manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality work.Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.Highly regarded: Experience managing projects in WordPress, WooCommerce, and Shopify.Any Project Management Certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.Experience with remote teams and managing virtual projects.What we offer?
