About Us :ARYZTA is an international food company headquartered in Switzerland, holding a leading global position in frozen B2B bakery industry across Europe and Asia-Pacific regions.Catering to widely diverse customer channels including grocery, convenience, quick-service restaurants, and foodservice, ARYZTA employs approximately 9,000 people around the world.We offer :A competitive salary range of $70,000 to $80,000, depending on experience.Work in an environment that values safety, innovation, and continuous improvement.About the Role :A rare Full-Time opportunity has become available for an experienced Area Lead to join and lead the day-to-day manufacturing operations within our Liverpool NSW Bakery.In this key role, you will lead production or packaging operations for all frozen products within your assigned area, ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards.You will be responsible for quality control during your shift, overseeing waste disposal, and ensuring adherence to process controls.Key Responsibilities :Production / PackingLead Production or Packing Team to ensure smooth operation of assigned area.Ensure the team achieve and maintain target product specifications and requirements within their assigned area.Competently complete all required Production Operator's or Packing Operator's tasks.Locate, print, and complete relevant documentation.Liaise with Team Leader to plan and facilitate workflow of assigned area to meet required targets.Occasionally Act as Team Leader when required.Conduct Toolbox talks regularly as required.Communicate and relay information back to Team Leader or Manager.WHS & EnvironmentComply with ARYZTA WHS&E systems, policies, and procedures.Report all accidents, incidents and near misses, immediately to Team Leader / Manager.Food Quality & SafetyComply with Quality, GMP, HACCP and Aryzta's program to address potential food safety and quality risks / concerns.Understand and ability to conduct all Quality inspections including QCP (Quality Control Points) and CCP (Critical Control Points) checks.Enter quality checks into computer system and relevant software.People, Performance, Training and SuccessionMaintain effective working relationships and two-way communication with co-workers and other personnel throughout the company.Competencies and Skills :Maintain high standards while working under pressure, ensuring accuracy and product quality at all times.Lead a team effectively, manage tasks, resolve conflicts, and collaborate with colleagues to achieve production goals.Proactively communicate with colleagues and management, escalate issues as needed, and seek advice to address challenges.Quickly adapt to dynamic environments, prioritize tasks based on production needs, and take initiative to complete tasks efficiently.Identify potential hazards in the workplace, follow instructions carefully, and maintain physical fitness and resilience to meet job demands.Adherence to site and company policies & procedures, ensuring high-quality work and care for products, equipment, and work processes.Actively contribute to the Frozen Production team with enthusiasm, demonstrating strong leadership and technical skills, as reflected in feedback from peers, reports, and managers.Show dedication, flexibility, and motivation in all tasks, taking responsibility for outcomes and adapting to changing demands and priorities.Qualifications and Experience :No formal qualifications required.Food manufacturing experience.Forklift Licence where applicable.Your Application :If this role sounds like you, we would like to hear from you now
