Soccer Coach

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Soccer Coach to lead our teams to success, promote a positive sports environment, and nurture the athletic and personal growth of our students.
This is a casual position under the Victorian Catholic Education Multi Enterprise Agreement 2022.
Responsibilities: Designing and implementing training sessions to enhance players' technical abilities, such as dribbling, passing, shooting, defending, and goalkeeping.
They also work on improving players' physical conditioning, including speed, endurance, and strength.Developing game plans and strategies tailored to the team's strengths and the opponents' weaknesses.Managing player substitutions, tactical adjustments, and in-game strategies during the match and provide real-time feedback to players and make decisions that can impact the outcome of the game.Fostering team unity and spirit, creating a positive and supportive environment.Analysing players and team performance and identifies areas for improvement.Serving as a leader and mentor, instilling values such as discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship in players.Handling logistical tasks, such as scheduling practices, coordinating travel, managing equipment, and communicating with parents, club officials, or school administration.Requirements: Strong knowledge of the sport and rules of the game.Passion and enthusiasm to coach and mentor in a school sports environment.Ability to inspire or motivate young athletesExcellent communication and organisational skillsCommitment to fostering a positive and inclusive sporting environmentFirst Aid accreditation, including CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma ManagementSport Coaching or Coordinating ExperienceA National Criminal Records Check with Working with Children Card application would be essential as part of the appointment process.Available for weekday training and SACCSS Premier League games on either Thursdays (in semester one) or Wednesdays (in semester two).Available for SACCSS Senior Sport fixtures that will be advised to the successful applicant once details have been finalised.Available before school time slots (7.00 am to 8.30 am) and post-school (3.10 pm to 4.30 pm).Training times are subject to change with the Kolbe Catholic College calendar.
